Divinity School
From the 2007-08 Giving to Duke Annual Report:
The Divinity School received substantial support for a leadership education initiative that will help leaders of Christian institutions combine theological insight with wise business practices to meet real-world challenges. Charitable gifts funded scholarship endowments and provided expendable support for financial aid through the Divinity Annual Fund. The school also received new resources for the Center for Reconciliation, the Institute on Care at the End of Life, and the Youth Academy—all programs that provide educational benefits for students, leadership for the church, and service benefits for the world. Fund-raising for service programs and student scholarships are top priorities for 2008-09.
